Running a Shopify store means constantly balancing a million moving parts. To stay competitive, you need tools that fit seamlessly into your workflow and adapt to the rapid shift toward AI-driven search and discovery. That’s why we rebuilt our Trustpilot app, making it faster, more intuitive, and ready for the next generation of commerce.

Why it’s time to make the switch

Upgrading to the new app gives you an immediate performance boost and unlocks features designed to protect your hard-earned reputation:

  • Put feedback on autopilot: Collect fresh, trusted customer reviews at the perfect touchpoints across your customer experience.

  • Effortless widget placement: Display your trust signals across your storefront without touching a line of code.

  • Optimize for modern search: Build the structured trust data that AI-powered search engines and shopping assistants look for when recommending brands.

The future of Trustpilot on Shopify starts here.

By upgrading now, you’ll benefit immediately from new features and be set up for future innovations. Here are some of the new capabilities the new and enhanced app offers:

Native Shopify Theme Editor Integration

No more copying and pasting code. You can now use App Blocks to place and customize your Trustpilot widgets in seconds.

The right-hand sidebar panel contains adjustable widget configuration settings, including appearance, content, and language options.

The main area displays "Service reviews" configuration card with an "Active" toggle switch. Dropdown menus are set to send review invites "7 days" after an order is "Fulfilled" using a selected design template. Below it, a Reminders section notes that a customer reminder will be sent 1 week after the initial invite.

Smarter Automation

We optimized the invitation engine so you can continuously capture feedback without manual intervention.

Centralized Management

Configure and manage your entire Trustpilot experience directly within your Shopify admin. Less context-switching, more efficiency.

The interface displays settings sections for "Timing and delivery," "Product identifiers" (with dropdown selections for SKU, GTIN, and MPN mapping), and "Product review widgets" configuration options at the bottom.

The top panel shows business performance data for "MyBusiness.com," displaying an overall 4.9 "Excellent" rating out of 102 reviews alongside a breakdown of star ratings and a counter showing "20 / 50" review invites sent this month. Below, two separate cards track statistics for "Service reviews" and "Product reviews," while a bottom panel confirms 1 active store widget.

Total Storefront Control

You’ll now have much tighter control over design, ensuring your reviews look like a natural extension of your brand aesthetic.
